Hurko Part turn actuator divided into two types: HKJ normal Split-type and integrated intelligent type. Intelligent type divided into two types: HKJ on-off type and HKJM modulating type. Three phases On-off type part turn actuator is intermittent working type, applied in action frequency less than 60 times / hour working condition, continuous operation time less than 15 minutes and motion proportion is 33.3%. Three phases Modulating type part turn actuator is working continuously, The control of the motor adopts the solid-state relay without ON and OFF switch, which can reach the action frequency of 1200 times / hour (except single-phase) and 50 % of the on-going persistence rate below the regulating torque. The Modulating type actuator has higher positioning accuracy than the On-off type, which can meet the requirements of most equipment for the closed-loop automatic control loop execution unit.

HANDWHEEL OPERATION
Direct drive handwheel to provide reliable emergency manual operation in the event of a power supply failure. Electric operation always has the higher priority than manual operation, when motor is energized that the operation state automatic switch to electric operation mode unless hand/auto lever is purposely locked into “ manual operation”.
NON-INTRUSIVE DESIGN
Actuator covers no need to be removed for site commissioning. All settings and adjustments are made by the supplied infra-red setting tool, including speed setting for the actuator. After assembly in the controlled environment of our manufacturing facilities, air exchanges are eliminated, all internal components are completely protected for life.
LOCAL OPERATION
There are two knobs on the housing, one red knob and one black knob. If local electromotion operation required, you must make the red one go to “LOCAL” position and control the actuator by the black knob.
POSITION MEASUREMENT
Using the absolute encoder, the valve position never lost. The absolute encoder can ensure the high precision, zero wear, long life, strong anti-interference, no need battery support.
MOTOR
Entire seal squirrel cage type asynchronous machine. It has big force at start moment and small inertia, and appropriate to all kinds of valve system. The motor equips a hot protector, and can be one phase power supply motor or three phase power supply motor.
INTERFACE UNIT
The interface unit including the foundation and actuation wrap. Setup of foundation conforms to the ISO5211 standard. The actuation wrap can be easily connected to all kinds of valve shafts.
